Where Are We?
We are located in the northeast foothills area of beautiful and historic Tucson, Arizona. We are about 2 hours
south of Phoenix and less than an hour north of Tombstone. Tucson is in the Sonoran desert at about 3,000 feet above sea level.
The summers are hot and dry and the winters are cool and even punctuated with the occasional snowfall. It is always beautiful
in Tucson.

We are not a camera shop or walk-in store. We are not part of a franchise operation, nor aligned
with any "big box" or warehouse store network. Our facility is in a closed studio, not normally open to the public. We
provide complementary pickup and delivery for clients within Tucson. Out-of-town and internet clients can safely send materials

Who We Are?
The company name is Ping Pong Media. And, no, we
do not have anything to do with the game of ping pong.
We were founded by Bob Nichol and Bob Polinsky. Bob Nichol is a
detail oriented technical professional. Mr. Nichol oversees the technical aspects of all our work and quality checks
everything that goes out the door for technical excellence. Bob holds graduate degrees in engineering and has been actively
involved in 8mm, Super 8mm and 16mm film, video and professional magnetic recording technology since 1962.
Bob Polinsky provides
the artistic direction on creative production projects. Mr. Polinsky is an arts graduate and veteran of the visual arts world.
Bob provides guidance and quality control over the artistic aspects of all our creative projects.
What Are Our References?
We
regularly do transfer ("migration") work for university and public archive libraries, private foundations, historical preservation
organizations, public television producers, Native American tribes, and many individual customers who want the very best
quality for their treasured family movies and audio. We're happy to provide references upon request.
What Can We Do For
You?
We provide personal attention to each project for individuals as well as special collections at museums and libraries. We
can transfer from nearly all formats of home movie film and home video to high quality digital media such as DVD and Blu-ray.
We also can transfer most forms of magnetic audio recordings and phonograph recordings to digital media such as audio compact disc
("CDs") or MP3. We also can transfer professional or broadcast video materials such as 1" type C and 3/4-inch videotape ("Umatic")
to digital media.
Where Did We Come Up With The Goofy Name?
That's a long story involving two crazy co-dependent dogs, a three-sided
house in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Mexico and a good friend's love of the game of Ping Pong. There is no connection between the business
or our services and the game of ping pong. However, it does seem to help customers remember our name. Once in a while,
we get the occasional phone call asking if we sell ping pong tables. Sorry, we don't.
